Words have power. Your thoughts are powerful – but then you add your voice and speak aloud your beliefs and projections – and you have only to look to see the powerful creator you really are. So why is it that only some of the things that we speak aloud come to pass, and not everything? Why can’t you say “I won the Powerball Jackpot tomorrow night!” and have it be so? After all, you thought it, you spoke it… so why doesn’t that happen? *That’s not to say that it can’t happen. It most certainly can.*
Well, it comes down to your beliefs and the emotions that you put into them. It’s the meaning you put into the words that make them powerful. And our emotions are the power we don’t realize we possess.
Here’s an exercise. I’ve got five affirmations for you to start using that are incredibly self-empowering. They help you to remember your True Source – your True Self – rather than an ego-identity that may be anything but empowered.
Use the Force, Luke
Now, when you read these affirmations, I want you to feel them. I want these to be more than just words that you read and recite. I want you to feel the Truth of them right in your Heart and in your solar plexus – that area right at the top of your belly that gets butterflies when you lock eyes with that dreamy guy or gal, or feels all knotted when your boss’s boss gets really mad at you and has that Donald Trump “You’re Fired!” look in his eyes. Yeah, that solar plexus. I want you to put your focus on what you feel there, and feel the meaning of these words through and through. Imagine you can feel it all right there in your solar plexus, and that it opens up a vortex that flows up to your Heart. Imagine that you can feel the energy coming up from your belly, into your Heart, and back to your belly again – all clear, all clean. Warm, tingly, happy.
Are you ready? Here they are. Five affirmations for self-empowerment. Five affirmations that, when said daily, and with feeling – with your emotions – will change your life.
I choose. On my own sovereign authority, I allow myself to choose for my happiness.
I release my body from projections of guilt and shame. I take back what is mine and give back to my body what belongs to my body. I trust my body as my partner in this life. I love my body and my body loves me.
I am safe and protected because I am in God and God is in me.
My future is innocent and deserves my happiest thoughts right now.
I Am the Love and the Peace and the Power that makes me free to Be Me.
I love it!! Wrote them all down in my planner so I remember to say them daily:) I got a chuckle out of the Donald Trump comment..wink, wink!
😉 wink! Guess who’s NOT fired! 🙂 Hey it’s awesome that you wrote them down – writing things out actually helps to reprogram the mind! There’s a reason why teachers used to make students write something out a hundred times… do they still do that? So glad you enjoyed!
